Gdansk

Gdansk is a beautiful city in Northern Poland with a lot of attractions to seaThe city which is rich with history has charming medieval old town and picturesque nature. Start your tour of Gdansk from the Old Town, which is the oldest part of the city. Walk on the coast of Motlawa River and enjoy a delicious meal with amazing view to the river. Long Market Square of Gdanks called Dlugi Targ is a medieval square that once served as the road of the royal entrance into the city during the visits of the monarchs. Currently, it is one of the most lively streeets surrounded by colourful and ornate houses, full of cafes, restaurants and shops.

There are many museums in the in the city for history and art lovers, such as Museum of Second World War, Museum of Gdansk and Amber Museum, where many items representing heritage of Polish history and culture are preserved.


    


Mariacka is a beautiful street in Gdanks that is popular among locals and tourists. This beautiful street paved with cobbles is full of amber galleries and cafés, that continues all the way from St. Mary's Basilica to the Motława River. It is a lovely place for lunch, coffee, dinner, or just to walk through and do some window shopping.

Westerplatte is a place that you should not skip out when you are in Gdanks. It is a peninsula in Gdańsk, located on the Baltic Sea coast mouth of the Dead Vistula, which is believed to be the place where the first shot of the World War II. There is a small museum and a monument to honor the Polish defenders of the city.
