Goreme Open Air Museum is a very special type of museum that you have never visited before, that consists of a large outdoor area, accommodating ancient churches and monasteries carved in the stones with beautiful frescoes decorating them. Dating back to the 4th century these monuments are very well preserved.

The Uchisar Castle is a castle carved out of rock formations in the Cappadocia valley, with panoramic views to the surrounding fairy chimneys and the air balloons. Once hosting the Roman and Byzantine armies, the castle has many interconnecting rooms, tunnels and stairs. The sunset from the top of the castle is a life time activity to do!
You would definitely want to use a camel or horse ride for a magical experience and some amazing photos to take!
Visit the largest Salt Lake in the World, the Lake Tuz of which vibrant pink color and hundreds of birds flying and perching around the lake will let you feel like in a fairy tale. Do not finish your trip to this beautiful corner of Turkey without visiting underground cities (there many of them, around 200!) and Ihlara Valley.
