Batumi

Medea Monument built on a tall column, that is located in Europe square of Batumi depicts the Georgian Princess Medea holding a golden fleece. According to the legend, falling in love with Jason who was in search of golden fleece, she helped him steal it. Around the monument, you can find many local and international cafes & restaurants to sit down and admire its beauty.
Your next stop, the Batumi Botanical Garden will surprise you with its iconic “fallen tree”, that fell down more than 30 years ago and kept on living, and gifted around 15 trees to the garden from its branches. Stretching down the Black Sea Coast, this botanical garden is the best place to relax after your hectic activities in the city.
